Discovered in 1973 near Battle Mountain, Nevada, the deposit was extremely small, only about a hundred pounds of high grade material were ever recovered, making genuine examples highly sought after. The stone shows the classic tight spiderweb matrix associated with Lander Blue, with strong contrast and depth.
