Darryl Dean Begay Tufa and Inlay Bolo
A strong contemporary bolo by award-winning Navajo artist Darryl Dean Begay, combining his tufa-cast silverwork with a clean, linear inlay design. The long central bar is inlaid with turquoise, coral and a dark wood or coral, creating a small but striking line of color against the textured silver ground. The long silver tips echo the vertical shape of the bolo and give the piece a particularly modern profile.
The bolo measures 3.5 x 1.5 inches and is finished with a braided leather cord and handmade silver tips.
