Whale bone walrus carving from the Inupiaq village of Shishmaref, Alaska along the coast of the Bering Sea.  The eyes are Baleen, a fibrous black material found in the mouth of bowhead whales and the tusks are made from the walrus ivory.  The walrus is considered a bringer of good luck and happiness.
